As a youngster, Aleem was lucky enough to play in front of Ringo Starr in the school orchestra - could this perhaps have been a sign he was meant to play with Watching Planes?!

Over the years he’s turned his hand to prog rock and rock - being a huge Genesis (and, obviously, Phil Collins) fan.

More recently he's played Guilfest twice, and will be playing there again in 2014 with his rock group, The Zone - this time on the main stage...
