Ollie West is an 18-year-old pianist/singer/songwriter in his own right, based near Farnham, Hampshire. Inspired by the work of Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby and Ray Charles, Ollie began songwriting in early 2012, and has since gone on to playing gigs both small and large, ranging from open mic nights to Kaya Festival in North Wales, a Welsh world music festival.

His solo work has been recognised by established musicians such as drummer Liberty DeVitto, and it has been said of him:

"If he keeps going with his writing we could well be seeing the next Stephen Sondheim unfolding before our eyes!"

Ollie is now in the process of recording and producing his own EP, with a release date to be confirmed. The delf-designed artwork opposite is taken from his current single, As Lovers Do (click to link to his page).

Ollie is off to study Music, specialising in piano, at The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, but is still keen to gig with the band whenever possible.
